Matyas Pavlik

Born 1984 in the Czech Republic

Matyas Pavlik lived for much of his life in the United States, Mexico and Portugal before returning to his home country. Like his mother, the well-known glass artist, Vladimíra Klumpar, he was artistically inspired by the various cultures. Thus, for example, the time that he spent in Mexico influenced not only his aesthetic style but also his understanding of the importance of colours. His impressive sculptures alternate between highlighting geometric and organic shapes.

The Fine Art Glass Sculpture »Arctica« was created by glass artist Matyas Pavlik from Czech Republic. The sculpture was created in 2021.

Explore the “Artistic Couple Room” featuring works by Malvina Middleton and Josef Marek @josef_marek_fine_art, as well as sculptures by Jaroslav Wasserbauer @jaroslavwasserbauer and Petr Stanický @petr.stanicky, alongside many other artists waiting to be discovered on the third floor. Further highlights include large-scale installations by the exceptional artists Ivan Mareš @ivanmares_glass and iconic sculptor Gizela Šabóková @gizela_sabokova. On the second floor, you can journey through the special exhibition by glass artist Ivana Mašitová @ivana_masitova_glass_artist.
