Description

Vladimira Klumpar

Born 1966 in the Czech Republic

Vladimira Klumpar began her studies at the Specialized School of Glassmaking High School in Zelezny Brod. She completes her studies nearly a decade later at the renowned Academy of Applied Arts in Prague under the tutorship of renowned artist Professor Stanislav Libensky. Klumpar is the recipient of a Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant. Her work has been widely exhibited in Europe and the Americas and is represented in public and private collections on both continents.

The Fine Art Glass Sculpture »Contemplation« was created by glass artist Vladimira Klumpar from Czech Republic. The sculpture was created in 2021.

Experience a series of new installations and newly opened spaces, expanding the museum into an exciting new chapter of contemporary glass art. A special highlight is the Klumpar & Pavlík Room featuring works by Vladimíra Klumpar and Matyas Pavlik @klumparandpavlik_studio @matyas_pavlik_sculpture, alongside newcomer Yana Unzhakova @unjack_tu - who will also set the atmosphere as DJ Unjack with her music from 9 pm to 12 am. Explore the “Artistic Couple Room” featuring works by Malvina Middleton and Josef Marek @josef_marek_fine_art, as well as sculptures by Jaroslav Wasserbauer @jaroslavwasserbauer and Petr Stanický @petr.stanicky, alongside many other artists waiting to be discovered on the third floor. Further highlights include large-scale installations by the exceptional artists Ivan Mareš @ivanmares_glass and iconic sculptor Gizela Šabóková @gizela_sabokova. On the second floor, you can journey through the special exhibition by glass artist Ivana Mašitová @ivana_masitova_glass_artist.
