Marek Brincko

Born 1981 in the Slovak Republic

Marek Brincko’s work with mold-melted glass unfolds between the poles of strict geometry and organic forms. The artist is inspired by bees’ honeycombs and their regular geometric hexagonal structure. For one, he works with real honeycombs, which he collects from bee swarms and integrate into his glass sculptures. He is also working with the element of the hexagon, which bears the so-called bee code.

Explore the “Artistic Couple Room” featuring works by Malvina Middleton and Josef Marek @josef_marek_fine_art, as well as sculptures by Jaroslav Wasserbauer @jaroslavwasserbauer and Petr Stanický @petr.stanicky, alongside many other artists waiting to be discovered on the third floor. Further highlights include large-scale installations by the exceptional artists Ivan Mareš @ivanmares_glass and iconic sculptor Gizela Šabóková @gizela_sabokova. On the second floor, you can journey through the special exhibition by glass artist Ivana Mašitová @ivana_masitova_glass_artist.
